Shanghai has added a modern theater - On September 28th, the North Bund Friendship Theater will unveil its veil to the world. The English original musical "The Phantom of the Theater sequel: Eternal Love" will kick off here, and the first round of tickets will be opened on July 18th.

With the opening of this grand theater standing at the intersection of the Huangpu River and Suzhou River, a series of world-renowned stage masterpieces will create a new scene of cultural, business, and tourism integration for the renowned "World Reception Hall" on the North Bund of Hongkou.

Thousand professional theaters landed in the core area of the North Bund

The North Bund Friendship Theatre is located at 889 Dongdaming Road, Hongkou District, with an area of approximately 14000 square meters. It is situated in the core area of the North Bund, known as the "Golden Triangle" along with the Bund and Lujiazui. The theater is equipped with first-class professional facilities and caters to the needs of multifunctional performances. It has 1715 seats and is operated by Shanghai Hongkou Poly Grand Theatre Management Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Beijing Poly Theatre Management Co., Ltd. Theater Phantom sequel: Eternal Love Announces Lineup

The original English version of the musical "The Phantom of the Theater: Eternal Love" created by musical master Andrew Lloyd Weber will make its debut in China and set the stage for the North Bund Grand Theatre of Friends.

The storyline of "The Phantom of the Theater: Eternal Love" has moved from Paris to New York. The story takes place in 1907, ten years after the disappearance of the Phantom from the Paris Opera House, he travels to Coney Island in the United States and establishes a fantasy amusement park. In order to regain Kristen's love, the Phantom anonymously invited Kristen, her husband, and son to travel to Coney Island from Manhattan

In 2010, The Phantom of the Theatre sequel: Eternal Love premiered in the West End of London. According to the production team, the new remake will create magnificent and eerie amusement park scenes such as a carousel and a prism jungle on stage.

The highly anticipated role of the Phantom in the play will be played by Luke McCall, who made his debut in the musical Les Mis é rables in 2015 after graduating from the Royal Welsh School of Music and Drama and was awarded a scholarship by the Andrew Lloyd Weber Foundation. In the West End, Luke is the youngest actor in history to play both the important roles of the Phantom and Jean Valjean simultaneously. The other protagonist, Kristen, is played by Magnon Taris from France. Manon graduated from the Balearic Audub International School of Performing Arts and has appeared in West End productions such as The Phantom of the Theatre.
