The exhibition of Lu Yushun's Chinese Painting Works, titled "Harmony between Heaven, Earth, and Man, No Solitude in the Great Way", was officially unveiled in Hall 2 of the Shanghai School Art Museum. The exhibition showcases over 150 works created by Lu Yushun, former president, academician, and director of the Art Committee of the National Academy of Painting of China, in the past decade. These works include a series of works such as "Observing Mountains and Seas," "Harmony between Heaven, Earth, and People," and "Classic of Mountains and Seas," as well as thematic creations such as the Yellow River culture and some domestic and foreign sketching works. The exhibition systematically presents Lu Yushun's research and practice on the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional culture.

Lu Yushun has been engaged in art for forty years now. From this exhibition, we can see his transformation in artistic creation over the past decade: from simply loving and experimenting with painting, to observing his heart, getting close to nature, and understanding all aspects of nature with his heart, and then from focusing on himself to paying attention to the people and the times.

Lu Yushun's works are vast, majestic, and profound. Artist Shao Dazhen believes that "his landscape painting language has never been developed before, giving people a refreshing sense of 'unfamiliarity' and some mystery. Lu Yushun's distinctive personality and unique style of painting have enriched the treasure trove of contemporary Chinese landscape painting art."

In the exhibition, the audience can also see a large number of Lu Yushun's sketches. Walking and painting along the way, the beauty seen by Lu Yushun is reflected in every detail of life. Yang Xiaoyang, Chairman of the China Association for the Promotion of Cultural and Artistic Development, commented on Lu Yushun's sketching works, "It is an organic combination of tradition and modernity, which not only has the characteristics of traditional Chinese painting techniques and materials, but also is very innovative and full of contemporary life atmosphere."
