Chinese Times recently announced that the EDC Daisy Electronic Music Carnival China Station, a three-year international electronic music IP, will be held from October 2nd to October 3rd at the Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourism Resort in Suzhou Industrial Park. Starting from June 16th, the first stage of ticket booking registration will be opened in barley.
EDC, one of the three major electronic syllables in the world, has a history of over 20 years. The first three EDC China stations were all hosted by China Times, and landed in Shanghai in April 2018, Zhuhai in November 2018, and Zhuhai in November 2019, attracting over 200000 visitors and promoting direct and indirect consumption of over 500 million yuan in the hosting area.
The current EDC event is located in the Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort in Suzhou Industrial Park, 70 kilometers east of Shanghai city center and 20 kilometers west of Suzhou ancient city center. It provides an excellent environment for creating a new cultural and tourism carnival format that EDC emphasizes on experience and socializing. This year, the main stage will combine special effects such as lighting, fireworks, laser, and jet, and will also introduce a 360 degree surround visual experience. More than 70 luxurious DJ lineups, delivering two consecutive days and 18 hours of performance. In addition to stage performances, there are also circus tours, large-scale art installations, leisure and entertainment facilities, trendy technology interactive installations, food and wine markets, and fireworks shows on site.
Yang Feng, Director of Production at the Chinese Era, revealed, "In addition to the rich online live streaming content, we will also launch a brand new upgraded READ TO EDC series preheating party, going to seven different cities and reinterpreting the charm of electronic music and parties in different ways and with various themed scenes."
EDC has reached a comprehensive strategic cooperation with Tencent Music Entertainment Group, and has initiated deep content co creation with Billboard China and QQ Music Electronic Music Alliance, jointly presenting on four major platforms under TME: QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music, and Quanmin KGe.
