City Qun Art Museum brings the "Citizen Art Classroom" aesthetic education brand project into the Kashgar region of Xinjiang | Culture | Project
The "Spring Rain Project - Shanghai Cultural and Tourism Volunteer Service Border Tour National Music Appreciation Event" was successfully held from July 31 to August 3 in Urumqi and Kashgar, Xinjiang, under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, jointly organized by the Shanghai Mass Art Museum, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Cultural Museum, and the Kashgar Cultural Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau. The Spring Rain Project is a key cultural welfare project organized and implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Central Civilization Office. It mainly takes the form of a large stage, lecture hall, and exhibition booth, with cultural volunteers as the backbone, and provides cultural volunteer services to build a platform for cultural exchange and interaction between the two regions. The implementation of this event is a unique and excellent traditional cultural interaction and exchange between Shanghai and Xinjiang, which has improved the level of public cultural services in Xinjiang.
In order to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Xinjiang, fully leverage their respective cultural advantages, and better benefit the citizens of Shanghai and Xinjiang through "cultural enrichment", the Shanghai Mass Art Museum has carefully planned high-quality cultural and artistic tours and lectures to be delivered to Xinjiang with the aim of promoting the popularization of art among the people. The "Citizen Art Classroom" of this art education brand project visited Urumqi, Kashgar, and Shache County, and held four exciting and diverse activities. The Citizen Art Classroom was founded in 2006. For many years, it has relied on top-notch training teachers from professional art academies, art schools, and renowned scholars to deliver a comprehensive and diverse range of cultural and artistic training activities and elegant art appreciation activities to citizens.
This volunteer service trip to Xinjiang invites performers from the Shanghai Ethnic Orchestra and Shanghai Conservatory of Music to jointly provide lectures and integrated traditional Chinese music guidance for the backbone of Xinjiang's mass culture business and citizens. At the same time, we also invited experts in group literature from Shanghai to give lectures on large-scale event planning and directing. By delivering lectures to our doorstep and introducing art to Xinjiang, we can meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the people of Xinjiang, improve the professional level of the backbone of group literature in Xinjiang, and share the fruitful achievements of the flourishing development of mass culture.
The appreciation of "Qi Yun China" traditional Chinese music aims to popularize knowledge of traditional Chinese music. When the suona, bamboo flute, sheng, and Uyghur instruments are played together, different timbres collide to create new sparks, and dancers bring ethnic dances with distinctive Xinjiang characteristics. Performers and audiences communicate and interact, breaking down barriers in stage performance space, and bringing each other closer with friendly yet professional performances. After each event, there were enduring cheers and enthusiastic applause.
