Children Bloom with Smiles, Shanghai Light Music Troupe in Kashgar: Echoes of Music Distance | Campus | Smiles
Songs, music, applause, and laughter echoed through the campus, making an ordinary day a special day. On June 13th, the Shanghai Light Music Troupe kicked off the "Hundred Light Music Frontier Tour" with a concert on the playground of the Red Army Primary School in Yecheng County, Kashgar. After arriving in Yecheng, the band performed more than 20 performances within 5 days. By the end of the month, they will perform more than 50 performances in schools, hospitals, troops, and communities in Yecheng and Zepu counties, allowing the sound of music to echo in Kashgar and bringing each other closer.
During the performance, the actors of the Shanghai Light Music Troupe brought songs full of Xinjiang characteristics, such as "Alma Khan," "Why Are Flowers So Red," and "Half Moon Climbing Up," as well as contemporary songs such as "Spring Stories," "Navigation," and "A River," as well as one of the representative works of Zhu Fengbo, the founder of the Shanghai Light Music Troupe and soprano singer, "Jin Suo and Yin Suo.". The performance always received continuous applause, and the audience came to sign and take photos. The actors of the Light Music Troupe were also moved by this enthusiasm. When "Me and My Motherland" is sung, whether in schools or communities, hospitals or villages, it can always evolve into a chorus.
