News: Today, the General Administration of Customs announced that in the first five months of this year, China's import and export of goods trade increased by 6.3% year-on-year. Since the beginning of this year, the positive momentum of China's foreign trade has continued to consolidate.
According to customs statistics, in the first five months of this year, my country's total import and export value of goods trade was 17.5 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%. Among them, exports were 9.95 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.1%; imports were 7.55 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.4%. In the month of May, imports and exports were 3.71 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.6%. Among them, exports were 2.15 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.2%; imports were 1.56 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.2%.
Customs statistics show that in the first five months of this year, my country's exports were 9.95 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.1%. Among them, exports of ships, electric vehicles, and household appliances grew rapidly, with increases of 100.1%, 26.3%, and 17.8% respectively.
my country imported 7.55 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.4%. Among them, the import of intermediate goods was 6.07 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.4%. Imports of agricultural products from Vietnam, Germany, France, Chile and other countries increased by 12.7%, 20.5%, 8.6% and 13.7% respectively.
Lu Daliang, director of the Statistical Analysis Department of the General Administration of Customs, said that China not only provides the world with innovative and high-quality "Made in China" products, but also opens the ultra-large Chinese market to the world. Since the beginning of this year, my country has continued to promote the access of high-quality agricultural and food products, and products from many countries have been allowed to enter the domestic market; exhibitions such as the Canton Fair, Consumer Expo, and Cultural Expo have "built platforms and bridges" to allow more foreign companies to meet new customers in China , share new opportunities and jointly expand the market.
In the first four months, China’s total import and export volume of services trade increased by 16.8% year-on-year.

In the first four months of this year, China's service trade continued to grow rapidly, with the total service import and export volume reaching 2.43196 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%. Among them, knowledge-intensive service trade continues to grow. From January to April, the import and export of knowledge-intensive services was 963.72 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. The areas with rapid growth include intellectual property royalties, personal culture and entertainment services. In addition, travel services are growing rapidly. From January to April, the import and export of travel services reached 660.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 48.6%, making it the largest area of service trade.
