In order to consolidate the good trend of recovery in the tourism market, give full play to the core role of the accommodation industry in turning "traffic" into "retention", effectively expand domestic demand and release consumption potential, with the approval of the municipal government, the city will issue "Happy Shanghai" accommodation consumption vouchers with a total value of 90 million yuan.
Targets of issuance: Including people from this city, other provinces and cities, foreigners, etc.
Distribution time. The accommodation consumption vouchers will be distributed in two rounds. The first round will be distributed from the end of September to the end of October 2024. The voucher grabbing channel is scheduled to be opened at 11:00 am on September 28. The vouchers will be distributed weekly, with a total of 40 million yuan. The second round will be distributed from early November to the end of December 2024, with a total of 50 million yuan.
Accommodation enterprises engaged in the accommodation industry in the city have not been included in the list of serious illegal and dishonest persons by the Shanghai Market Supervision Department, and have not been listed as dishonest persons subject to enforcement by the "Credit China" website. The Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism will announce the list of participating merchants in batches through relevant channels.
Voucher rules. In the first week, four denominations were issued. The first is 50 off for purchases over 300, the second is 130 off for purchases over 600, the third is 220 off for purchases over 900, and the fourth is 300 off for purchases over 1,200. The scale of voucher issuance for each category will be adjusted dynamically every week based on the specific situation of receipt and redemption last week.
Collection method. In order to facilitate consumers to use consumption vouchers in conjunction and enjoy the maximum discount, accommodation consumption vouchers will be jointly selected with catering consumption vouchers to select 3 payment platforms as the distribution channels. The selected distribution platforms are currently being announced. The "first come, first served" method is adopted, and the event announcement will be released before the start of each round of activities. The consumption voucher is valid for 7 days from the date of issuance. After the previous consumption voucher is redeemed, you can apply for a new consumption voucher again.
Usage rules. According to the specific arrangements of each round of consumer voucher activities, consumers can enjoy discounts when consuming at participating merchants. Consumer vouchers can be used in conjunction with discounts from participating merchants. Consumers must use consumer vouchers within the validity period after receiving them. If they are not used after the expiration date, they will be automatically invalidated. It is strictly forbidden to use consumer vouchers to purchase group purchase vouchers, prepaid cards and other fields.
